What is the difference between making a donation and subscribing to Newsroom Pro?
Great question, because both support Newsroom’s journalism. Donations can be any amount or frequency and all donations help Newsroom keep its journalism free for everyone to read. Newsroom Pro gives you advanced access to our business and political reporting as well as our Daily 8 Things email and news alerts.
What is the difference between a business and personal subscriber?
A business subscriber uses Newsroom Pro primarily for professional or commercial purposes related to their work or industry. This also includes government departments, ministries, commissions, organisations and NGOs.
A personal subscriber is someone who uses Newsroom Pro primarily for personal reasons and general interest. This can include Sole Traders.
When does the trial end and when will I be charged?
After 14 days, your credit card will be charged for your chosen subscription unless you cancel at least two days before the end of the free period.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Whether you are on a trial or if you decide the subscription isn’t for you – you’re not locked in so give it a go. After you have cancelled, your subscription will continue to the end of your billing period.
